In Tanzania, oncoematologic tumors with a high survival rate and other tumors that are, in many cases, curable, represent the majority of cancer cases. Among these, Burkitt’s Lymphoma is one of the most common among children.
The use of antiviral and antiblastic drugs has proven to be an effective control strategy against these tumors, especially for Kaposi’s sarcoma and Burkitt’s lymphoma.
